How to Stop Working 60 Hour Weeks as an Agent
If you’re a real estate agent, you probably work non-stop. Your phone is always ringing and you’ve had more than a few late nights.
What if I told you there’s a better way where you don’t have to work 60 hour weeks? I’m going to show you how to get back your time and still grow your business. Stick around.
Hey everyone, Suneet Agarwal here with the Hustling Agent and today we are talking about how to stop working those overtime hours and get some peace in your life again.
Real Estate is a demanding business, but with some proper preparation and some healthy boundaries, it’s possible to excel and still work normal hours.
CREATE A ROUTINE
The first key is to create a morning routine and MASTER it. This means your exercise time, your meal, your shower, EVERYTHING, needs to be planned.
Make it a routine to do the same things over and over, and it’ll permeate into the rest of your life. It’s all about the small victories.
SCHEDULE YOUR DAY
The second tip is to schedule your day and prioritize your tasks. Once your morning is done, take a look at your goals for the day, week, and month.
Plan your week and day out and stick to it. Block out time for clerical work, networking, calls, showing homes, everything. Doing this is a HUGE step in taking back your time.
AUTOMATE EVERYTHING
And the last tip and one of the most crucial, is to automate everything. You can save so much time in front of the computer by setting up automatic tasks like email drips, social posts, and more.
There are a vast array of tools out there for you to use and simplify your business and life.
BOTTOM LINE
The bottom line is that until you start taking active steps towards taking back your time, you will always fall into the same hole that so many other agents fall into.
Hopefully these tips will help you gain back your precious time and put aside those long work weeks.
