You have to be willing to work harder than anyone you know, and even then, surround yourself with people who work harder than you. Without this step, you’ll never be the best.



Tip #2 is to Understand your clients DEEPLY!

What we mean by this is you want to know exactly what your ideal client is like.

What is the avatar you want to work with? What’s their age, their income, their fears and their goals? Know these things in detail as if your job depends on it, because it does.

When you know your client on a deeper level, you can anticipate their wants and needs, and you’ll learn to better target your marketing to them.


At #3, you have to Focus on growth

You can work hard all you want, but if you aren’t actively trying to become better at what you do, then you’ll just reach a level of complacency.

As a real estate agent, you work in an ever-evolving market, so you MUST always strive to be better than you were yesterday.


Tip #4. Is easier said than done, and that’s to Stay positive AND determined

The hardest part of Real Estate and one of the reasons most agents quit, is that there can be a lot of setbacks. Canceled appointments, contracts denied, and even clients who decide to work with someone else.

These are things that are usually out of our control. So the best way to deal with them is to stay positive, keep working, and look to the next lead, the next source. Hard work, determination, and positivity will go a long way to keeping you growing.


The last tip and probably the most important, is you MUST challenge yourself and set new goals.

It’s imperative when you want to be the BEST, that you are actively looking at your performance from before.

How are you better today than yesterday? Or a year ago? Track progress, set new goals at least annually, or quarterly.

By pushing yourself to grow and be better, and setting goals, you’d be surprised at the amount of change and prosperity you can see in your business. But again, goals MUST be backed by action, otherwise they are just dreams.
