Make Customer Service A Priority
There's no denying that the real estate market has been absolutely crazy lately. With so much happening in the market, it can be hard to set yourself apart from the competition. My first tip to help you stand out is to always make your clients your first priority.
There is a reason why companies like Disney and Chick-fil-A are so successful: it’s because of their customer service. They're known for going above and beyond. If you make that same concept part of your brand, you will start to turn heads, guaranteed. Too many agents deliver average service, but in a market like this, it pays to go above and beyond.
Find A Specialty Niche
My second tip is to find a specialty niche. The average real estate agent tries to put their hands in every pot, but an agent with a specialty has a better chance at successful targeted marketing. You’ll also come off as more of an expert in their field.
Finding a specialty niche in real estate also means you can narrow down potential clients. This allows you to work faster and smarter.
Don’t Neglect Networking
The number three tip is easy: network by volunteering, attending events, or joining in on professional organizations. You'll meet a lot more people; it's just a numbers game. The best part is that you don't have to join the real estate events.
If you prefer, simply coach your kids’ team, go to art classes in your free time, or do whatever you want to do. If you make networking fun, it feels like less work. Whatever you do, put your best foot forward and make sure everyone knows you and what you do for a living. This puts you top of mind so that, when they think about an agent one day, maybe you're the first person that pops into their head.
Use Social Media
My last tip is to use social media. How many agents in your market are doing 500 transactions a year, 1,000, or even more? How many of them are seriously using social media as a content creation platform? 12, maybe less?
Devote yourself to creating consistent content that gives value to your viewer. Over time, you'll get seen, you will be heard, and you will become the authority in your area. Social media is a tool as much as an escape, so utilize it well.
Standing Out From The Crowd
